Pearce’s Farmshop & Café has been a family business for over 37 years and proud to be a foodie’s destination. Located off the A10 near the historic market town of Buntingford, our beautiful café with floor to ceiling glass picture windows and terrace for the summer has glorious views out over the meadows; it also has an enviable reputation for its delicious freshly cooked meals served by our friendly team of waiting staff.
Our chefs use the finest ingredients sourced from our farmshop and home grown produce such as asparagus and strawberries as well as from local suppliers or further afield for quality. Start the day with a full English breakfast; sandwiches, wraps and lighter bites are then available throughout the day. For Lunch, an inviting choice of dishes and salads cater for all tastes and dietary requirements and weekly changing specials make the most of seasonal produce. Sunday roasts with all the trimmings are particularly popular with fish and vegetarian dishes also available.
Indulging in the luxury of an afternoon tea is a wonderful British pastime. Our Traditional English Afternoon Tea is served on a three-tier plate. Enjoy a variety of tasty savoury dishes, finger sandwiches, cakes and pastries as well as a warm scone with clotted cream and homemade jam – there’s a pot of loose-leaf tea or cup of coffee to choose from or perhaps a glass of prosecco will add to the occasion.
To accompany your meal we have fine wines, champagne or prosecco as well as artisan beers and cider and soft drinks.
Our Farmshop is a gourmet’s delight stocking local artisan products, fresh seasonal fruit and veg, luxury groceries, deli produce, wines, artisan beers, local gins, inspiring gifts, homeware and garden plants.
During the summer months, we also have a pick your own strawberries and raspberries – another delightful English activity.
Dogs are allowed at Pearces, however, only on the terrace.
Please visit in-line with current restrictions, and check their website before visiting to ensure they are open.
